I work closely with WinRisk Ltd , a specialist business and IT consultancy providing Risk and Compliance expertise to institutions active on the world’s commodity markets.

My background covers 40+ years in the LME / energy sectors (initially in non-IT roles, back, middle and front) so, I approach IT from a business perspective background. First involvement being in 1970’s, undertaking a feasibility study on bringing a bureau service in-house (ICL ME29, Perkin-Elmer anyone?)

I have managed global IT operations for multinational organisations and covered all aspects of the day-to-day, and change management of technology for trading companies. I have overseen many system migration projects and relocation / green field site preparation.

I have a good understanding of the business, change management, regulatory matters (EMIR, MiFID II) cyber security, private cloud, IT governance, communications technology and risk management.
